Bass - Rogers
EAU GALLE, Fla. — Sharon Ann Rogers of Melbourne, Fla., became the wife of James Dennis Bass Sr. of Melbourne June 19 at 6 p.m.
Kristine Yarbrough officiated at the double-ring ceremony American Legion Post 163.
The late Pearl Landvik and the late Leonard Landvik of Minneapolis, Minn. are parents of the bride.
The groom is the son of Martha Hellon Bass of Goldsboro and the late James Milton Bass of Fern Park, Fla.
Given in marriage and escorted by her son, Russel Rogers, the bride wore a full-length dress of silk with brocade pink and purple roses.
She carried a cascading bouquet of orchids with pink and white roses and baby’s breath.
Jeannine Rogers, daughter of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley, Callie and Kenzee.
James Dennis Bass Jr. was his father’s best man. Groomsmen were Micah Bass and Darryl Yarbrough.
Katie Yarbrough was flower girl. Eric, son of the groom, was ring bearer.
Tami Barnett directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Crystal Bass.
Special helpers were Paula Moore, Steve Hall, Mark Kondracki and Danny Bass.
A program of wedding music was provided by a dj.
The couple is residing in Melbourne. They will take a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., in November.
The bride attended Zigareli’s of Pittsburg. She is employed as a cosmetology salon manager.
The groom graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1967. He served in the Navy. He is employed in management and sales with Water Distributors of Brevard.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held.
Out-of-town guests were from Alabama, Minnesota and New York City.
