Speece - Kornegay
Jennifer Noel Kornegay of Fort Worth and Jay Rainey Speece of Mansfield, Texas, said their promises June 5 at 7 p.m.
Pastor David Bahn officiated at the ceremony at Perkins Chapel.
Mr. and Mrs. Linwood Kornegay of Atlanta, Ga., are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reilly of La Habra, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Kornegay of Mount Olive.
Richard Wayne Speece of Mena, Ark., and Mary Spalding Speece of Mansfield are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Spalding of Rendon.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless ballgown of white silk with detail embroidery and crystal accents.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara adorned with seed pearls and Swarovski crystals with a cathedral-length veil accented with crystals.
Chelsea Nicholson, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Devine, Stephanie Fanning, Adrienne Townes and LaJon Whiteley.
Cody Speece was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Chad Devine, Mark Freeman, Matthew Kornegay, brother of the bride, and Jason Nicholson.
Jordan LeFan and Sayler Sturkee were the house party.
A program of wedding music was provided by Benjamin Kolodzeij, organist, and Kristal Seid, vocalist.
After a wedding trip to the Virgin Islands, the couple is residing in Mansfield.
The bride is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor of arts degree in management. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She is employed by Vet Solutions of Fort Worth.
The groom is employed by SBC.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Grand Hall at Union Station.
The groom’s mother held a rehearsal dinner at Avanti Restaurant of Fountain Place.
