Finney - Rojeski
GREENVILLE — Hallie Janae Rojeski of Cary became the bride of Jeffrey Len Finney of Cary June 19 at 6 p.m.
The Rev. Paul Lang officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Peace Presbyterian Church.
Peter Jr. and Jeanette Rojeski of Pleasant Garden are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Floyd Thayer and Ruth Thayer of Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rojeski Sr. of Tivoli, N.Y.
Mary Hill of Rosewood and Bassel Finney Jr. of Snow Hill are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stocks of Maury and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bassel Finney Sr. of Roanoke Rapids.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless empire-waisted white organza and satin gown. Embroidery adorned the chapel-length train.
She chose a silver floral headpiece and a two-tiered satin-trimmed veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and yellow calla lilies.
Katherine Schafer was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Teachey, Susan Saywer and Kelly Roberts.
Durel Hill and James Stocks were best man. Ushers were Nick Rojeski, brother of the bride, and Paul Powers. Groomsmen were Donnie Wiggs and Joey Creech Jr.
Taylor Finney was flower girl.
Patti Wiggs directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Kaye Finney. Anna McComb distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Penny McCreary, organist; Ken Finney, vocalist; and Stephanie Sparrow.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple is residing in Cary.
The bride is a graduate of Grimsley High School and East Carolina University with a bachelor of science degree and a master’s degree in special education. She is employed as a teacher at Oakwood School.
The groom graduated from Rosewood High School and East Carolina University with a bachelor of science degree and a master’s degree in athletic administration.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Rock Springs Center of Greenville.
Katherine Schafer held a bridal shower at Summit Governor’s Village of Chapel Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Wiggs held a barbecue at their home.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at the church fellowship hall.
