Massey - Eldridge
MOUNT OLIVE — Lila Rosemary Roberts Eldridge and Carl Daniel Massey exchanged wedding vows May 1 at 4 p.m.
The Rev. Doug Bartlett officiated at the double-ring ceremony at First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The bride is the daughter of Boyden and Marie Roberts of Mount Olive.
Parents of the groom are the late James R. and Civil Ola Massey of Newton Grove.
The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her son, David P. Eldridge.
Beth R. McLamb, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.
Carl D. Massey Jr. was his father’s best man.
Krista Davis directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Amanda Massey. Shannon Lewis distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Carol Ann Herring, pianist, and Matt Bartlett and Neil Swinson, vocalists.
The couple is residing in Newton Grove.
The bride is employed as a nurse with Mount Olive Family Medicine Center.
The groom is a retired USDA food safety inspector.
