LAGRANGE — Keri Leigh Sanders and Dallas Gray Sutton of LaGrange were wed May 8 at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Dean Hightower and the Rev. Brad Williamson officiated at the single-ring ceremony at Community Baptist Church.

Parents of the bride are Lynn Eugene and Kathy Dickerson Sanders of LaGrange. She is the granddaughter of the late Russell Edward Dickerson and Ora Leigh Dickerson of Rocky Mount and the late Robert Earl Sanders and Lucille Jean Sanders of Jacksonville, Fla.

Hilda Gray Sutton of LaGrange and Henry Dallas Sutton of Swan Quarter are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Harold Lloyd Sutton Sr. and Mary Dallas Sutton of Mount Olive and the late Hardy Gray Sr. and Ruby Baker Gray of LaGrange.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a candlelight satin gown that was sleeveless with a V-neck laced with a bead and pearl waist band. Buttons covered the back bodice with pearls on the train.

For her headpiece, she chose a waist-length veil attached to a circled beaded and jeweled tiara. She carried a bouquet of fresh flowers of giant white Gerber daisies, pink-tipped white roses and pink alstromeria.

Lindsey Sanders, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Sanders, sister of the bride; Janice Dickerson, aunt of the bride; Jessica Davis, friend of the bride; and Holly Sutton, sister of the groom.

Lynn Sanders was his son’s best man. Ushers were Keith Dickerson, uncle of the bride, and Jody Black, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Colie Cashwell, Ray Burke, Tim Marshburn and Baxton Holland, friends of the groom.

Audrey Black was flower girl. Isaac Black was ring bearer.

Shea Foss directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Cindy Hightower. Karen Foss distributed programs. The Rev. Paul Sanders, uncle of the bride, gave a prayer of dedication.

A program of wedding music was provided by Mary Margaret Harrison, pianist, and Walt Anderson, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to the coast, the couple is residing in LaGrange.

The bride is a graduate of Wayne Christian School. She attended Liberty University, Wayne Community College and Mount Olive College. She is employed as a teller with the State Employees Credit Union.

The groom graduated from North Lenoir High School and Mount Olive College with a business degree. He is employed as a call center representative with the State Employees Credit Union.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Holly Gentry and Ginger Hunt served the wedding cake. Michelle Foss and Jessica Hightower poured punch. Carolyn Hobbs and Linda Foss were coordinators.

On May 1, Shea Foss and Bobbie Hightower held a bridesmaids’ luncheon at the Foss home in Greenville.

Faculty held a floating shower April 27 at Wayne Christian School.

On April 20, employees held a shower at the State Employees Credit Union.

Mary Margaret Harrison, Cindy Hightower, Karen Foss and Linda Foss held a honey-do cookout April 17 at Community Baptist Church.

On April 4, Janet Cottle, Laura Walter, Doris Carrole Kirby and Elva Cottle, family of the groom, held a floating shower at the home of Ned and Janet Cottle.

Katherine Hart, aunt of the groom, and Kelly Black, cousin, held a miscellaneous shower April 3 at LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church.

On March 27, Lindsey and Erin Sanders, sisters of the bride, held a lingerie shower at the home of the bride.

The groom’s mother and Mary Dallas Sutton, grandmother of the groom, held a rehearsal dinner at the Rotary Club of LaGrange.
