Alyssa Jackson and Emily Newsome combined for nine kills during Eastern Wayne's 25-22, 25-9, 25-14 triumph over county and Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe Southern Wayne.
Newsome and senior libero Jennifer Sparks each served four aces. Newsome and Naomi Williams combined for 12 assists.
Sparks led the defense with 10 digs.
