* Boys' basketball: Goldsboro 64, Carolina Crocs (Australia) 53 -- Daryle Gaddis led the host Cougars with nine points, while Josh Best chipped in seven. Teammates Jacob Owens, Deondre Pettiford and Tyzhaun Claude tallied six points apiece. Overall, 15 players scratched in the scorebook for Goldsboro. Carolina's Ernest Docker led all scorers with 19 points. Petar Majetic knocked down 13 points, while Jeremy Lay provided 12 points.
* Girls' basketball: Charles B. Aycock 34, D.H. Conley 32 -- Destiny Washington scored 13 points to lead Charles B, Aycock to a 34-32 triumph over the Vikings. Hannah Vinson added nine points for the Golden Falcons.
* Boys' basketball: CB Aycock 37, D.H. Conley 33 -- Michael Evans scored 12 points to lead the Golden Falcons to a four-point win over the Vikings. Tayquan Hampton chipped in nine points in the win.
