Pauline Elizabeth Johnson Dillard, 84, 136 Best Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., departed this earthly life Aug. 26, 2018, at Duke Regional Hospital, Durham, N.C.
She was born Dec. 20, 1933, in Goldsboro, N.C., to the late Frank and Mable Ward Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Ray Dillard Jr. (Ruth).
Her viewing will take place Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., and the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Her celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters. Interment will be in Old Mill Cemetery, Goldsboro, N.C.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are being handled by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
