KENNETH RAY LEE

Kenneth Ray Lee, 78, Goldsboro, passed away Monday at his home.
Kenneth was born in Wayne County Sept. 3, 1939, to the late Thennie Lee Peacock, and was married to the late Jeanette Allman Lee.
He retired as a supervisor with Kemp Furniture Co., and later went to work with the Goldsboro Housing Authority.
Graveside services for Kenneth will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with Chaplain Allen Strickland officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of Christopher Lee.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Christopher Lee and fianceé Mandy, of Goldsboro, Kim Parker and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro, Pat Hill of Goldsboro, Steven Coffey and wife, Diane, of Princeton and Douglas Coffey of Seven Springs; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by special friends, Chester Williams, Joyce Owens and Nora Lee Edgerton.
In addition to his wife and mother, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Layla Jane Williford.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Community Home Care and Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
