Virginia Margie Coley Cox, 92, 1538 Tommy's Road, passed from labor to reward Thursday at her residence.
She was born May 30, 1926, in Wayne County to Jonah L. and Emma L. Spruill Coley. She was married to the late Nazareth "Buddy" Cox for 65 years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
Beautiful memories are held dear by children, Edna, Sheryl and Helen Cox of the home, Linda Dubose of Highland Fall, N.Y., Emma Coor of Laurelton, N.Y., Ernestine Cox of Brooklyn, N.Y., Durwood Cox of Monroe, N.Y., and Thurman Cox of Goldsboro; a devoted granddaughter, Sherica Cox of the home; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the church of Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
