Shirley Jeannette Baldree Dudley, 82, Pikeville, passed away early Saturday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Shirley was born in Onslow County Dec. 27, 1935, to the late Ollie Clifton Baldree and Claudine Bryant Baldree. She was married to the late Kirby Dudley.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, in Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Sue Haaversen and husband, Alf, Sara Mullens and husband, James, Kathy Gondek and Hope Aylward and husband, Jerry; brother, David Baldree and wife, Janet, of Leland; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her 8-month-old son, Dickie; an infant son, David, whom she lost at birth; and her brother, Lee Baldree.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
