Michael Lorenzo Joyner, 34, Columbia, S.C., formerly of Goldsboro, died April 2.
Funeral service will be Thursday at noon at St. James AME Zion Church. Interment will be in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 7 tonight at the church.
Arrangements are by Carrons Funeral Home of Wilson.
