Lonnie Kegley Sigmon, 64, LaGrange, passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at her home.
Lonnie was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., Oct. 30, 1953, to the late George Bruce Kegley and Emma Katherine Dunford Kegley.
She enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends.
Lonnie was a valued employee of Barry Manufacturing for 30 years, and later went to work with Frigidaire.
However, her greatest joy was spending time at the beach with her family.
She served as the property director for Roger's Bay Properties at North Topsail Beach.
A service to celebrate Lonnie's life will be held Friday, March 23, 2018, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
Interment will be Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 1 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Lonnie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Larry Steve Sigmon; son, Danny Lethco; sister, Jean Outlaw and husband, Kenneth; brother-in-law, Ricky Rose; and several nieces and nephews she loved very much.
She is also survived by her special K-9 friend, Buddy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mable Rose, and brother, Alan Jay Kegley.
