Esther Dobson Pickett, 86, Chinquapin, died Saturday at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
Funeral will be at First Missionary Baptist Church of Chinquapin Saturday at 10 a.m., with pastor Charles Farmer officiating. Burial will be at St. Lewis Church Cemetery.
She was married to Aaron Pickett of Beulaville.
She is survived by six sons and seven daughters.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by Rose Hill Funeral Home.
