Elva Elliott Stackhouse, 94, Goldsboro, died Sunday at Brookdale on Berkeley Boulevard.
Graveside service will be Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Dr. Thomas O. Harper will be officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at 710 Park Ave.
Surviving are her sons, William James "Jim" Stackhouse MD and his wife, Joyce Ann Keller of Goldsboro, Kenneth "Ken" Byne Stackhouse and his wife, Patricia, of San Jose, Calif., and Randall "Randy" Elliott Stackhouse and his wife, Celeste G., of Indialantic, Fla.; grandchildren, William Curtis Stackhouse and his wife, Elizabeth Howze, of Goldsboro, James Russell Stackhouse MD and his wife, Erin Ducey, of Amelia Island, Fla., Stephen Ralph Stackhouse of Raleigh, N.C., Mike Tisdell of San Jose, Calif., Sharon Coffelt of Denair, Calif., Becky Sipe of Cameron, N.C., Tim W. Stackhouse and wife, Meagan, of Tallahassee, Fla., Katrina G. Mylett and husband, Jon, of Palmetto, Fla., and Sabrina M. Stackhouse of Palm Bay, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Mary Wynne Stackhouse, William Richmond Stackhouse, Charlotte Elizabeth Stackhouse and Olivia Ann Stackhouse.
She was a native of Perquimans County, N.C., and was preceded in death by her husband, William Byne Stackhouse in 2009; her parents, Katherine Irene Jackson Elliott and Loyd Nathan Elliott; and her brothers, Loyd Jackson Elliott and Carl Nathan Elliott.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
Arrangements are with Evergreen Funeral Home.
