ELIZABETH "BETSY" CARTER HEYWARD
May 10, 1957-March 1, 2018
Betsy, 60, died suddenly at her home in Graham, N.C.
She spent her childhood years in Goldsboro.
Betsy was a University of North Carolina Chapel Hill graduate, and taught preschool and elementary grades for several years in Wake County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mickey and Jeann Heyward, and her brother, Rusty Heyward.
She is survived by her sisters, MaryLee Jeffreys (Paul) of Fremont and Amy Heyward of Zebulon.
She is also survived by her nephews, Bennett Jeffreys of Meridian, Idaho, and Heyward Jeffreys (Tressa) of Fremont.
There will be a private service at a later time.
