Joseph Eugene "Pete" Parks, 70, Goldsboro, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care surrounded by his family.
Funeral services for Pete will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Dail and the Rev. Jerry Stephenson officiating. Interment will be at noon on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home.
