David Allen McCullough, 60, died Thursday at Wilson Medical Center.
He was born in Seagraves, Texas, to the late Daryl and Wanda Gruben McCullough, and was married to Catherine Brown McCullough.
A technical sergeant with the United States Air Force, he retired after 20 years of service.
David was currently working at Merck Inc. in Wilson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with deacon David Kierski presiding. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Stephen McCullough; an aunt, Barbara Lawlis and husband, Steve, of Texas; an uncle, Kenneth Gruben and wife, Barbara, of Louisiana; and three grandchildren, Alayna, Isela and Junior.
