Donald Leonard White, 65, 205 S. Tiffany Road, departed this life Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born Friday, Jan. 23, 1951, in Pitt County to William and Madelyne Hopkins White.
A wealth of precious memories is left to his wife, Bonita Bell White of the home; his children, Rashaan Rodgers of Greenville, N.C., Tia White of Vienna, Va., William White of Asheville, N.C., and Coby White of Goldsboro, N.C.; his sister, Swanza Deluze (John) of Greenville, N.C.; his brother, Tyrone Hopkins of Camp Springs, Md.; and a host of other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bear Creek Association Headquarters. His mortal frame will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
A walk-through will be held Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home. Mr. White will lie in state one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, in his memory.
Arrangements are entrusted to Haskins Funeral Home.
