Ray Lee "Buster" Taylor Jr., 59, Faison, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Genesis Health Care in Mount Olive, N.C.
Mr. Taylor was born July 12, 1957, in Duplin County, N.C., to Clara Lane Taylor and the late Ray Lee Taylor Sr.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Faison United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Faison Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw Inc.
Mr. Taylor is survived by mother, Clara Lane Taylor of the home; sister, Elizabeth "Beth" Taylor and fiancé, Nelson Lane, of Faison; his loyal canine companion, Buckner Hill Taylor; and doggy niece, Delaney Lou, aka Teensy.
