Tammy Lynn Snowden, 54, Pikeville, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
She was born in Hawaii May 29, 1963, to the late Marvin Gray and Maureen T. Kennedy.
Tammy was a beautiful person whose loving spirit and ever present smile radiated the joy she experienced in living every day of her life.
She was deeply devoted to her family, and was happiest when she was spending time with them.
In her battle with cancer, she was a constant inspiration, and those who knew her will always remember her joy in living, her laughter, her positive attitude, her caring and loving ways and of course, her courage.
A service to celebrate Tammy's life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Robert Goff Jr. officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
Tammy is survived by her daughter, Sarah Neider and husband, Joe, of LaGrange; son, Austin Snowden and wife, Taylor, of Pikeville; granddaughter, Isabelle Neider; brothers, Rick Gray and Bryan Gray; and sister, Tracy Martel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Larry Kennedy, and brother, Ronny Gray.
