Kevin Bruce Ogburn, 55, died Thursday at home.
He was born in Roanoke Rapids to Mildred Earl Shell and the late James Clifton Obgurn. He was married to Deborah Jean Mays Ogburn.
A member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church, he was a retired bodily injury claims adjuster with Nationwide Insurance Co., as well as a veteran of the United States Air Force.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Dr. Bane Angles officiating.
The family will be receiving friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Shane Ogburn and fianceé, Taylor Pearce, and Mayson Ogburn both of Goldsboro; brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Connie Ogburn, Steve and Susan Ogburn, Gary and Kathy Obgurn and Dale Obgurn; and one grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, 1820 W. Webster Ave., Suite 304, Chicago, Ill., 60614.
