Magdeline Pope Gooding, 66, died Saturday at Somerset Court.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Owen Moses Pope Jr. and Bertie Louise Potter Pope.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Maggie is survived by her husband, George Steve Gooding; and five children.
