Michael Ray Brinkley, 49, 2201 Southwood Road, Kinston, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017.
He worked for more than 21 years as a cable installer with SuddenLink, and currently worked as a buyer with LKQ.
He played beach volleyball at the Galaxy, and was very devoted to and active with his daughters in dance and sports.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from the chapel of Garner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Pittman officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday morning at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include his parents, Donald R. and Lorraine Smith Brinkley of Kinston; two daughters, Layla RaeAnn Brinkley and Alyssa Micheyl Brinkley both of LaGrange; his sister, Gina Brinkley Mooring and husband, Donald; his niece, Brooke Mooring; his nephew, Landon Mooring; and a special aunt, Pat Jones all of Kinston.
