MARY FRANCES C. WATSON
April 12, 1937-April 4, 2017
Mary Frances C. Watson, 79, Lucama, passed away Tuesday evening at the Wilson Pines.
Mary was born in Wilson County April 12, 1937, to the late James and Lossie Pennington Collier, and was married to the love of her life, the late Roy Verlyn Watson.
She was a member of Little Rock Original Free Will Baptist Church.
Mary was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be loved by her children, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 7, 2017, at 1 p.m. in Kenly Cemetery, with the Rev. D. Wayne Eakes and the Rev. Kelley Smart officiating.
Mary is survived by her sons, James Verlyn Watson and wife, Nancy, of Burlington and Ronnie Glenn Watson and wife, Kathy, of Lucama; sisters, Jane Hawley of Goldsboro and Helen Hogge of Newport News, Va.; and grandsons, Travis Watson and Matthew Watson and wife Jessie.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Collier; sister Pearl Whitley; and a great-granddaughter, Lila Grace Watson.
