Viengkeo "Boo" Simmalavong, 52, died Monday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
He was born in Laos April 3, 1964, to Khamla Simmalavong of Minnesota and the late Boonhung Simmalavong.
He is survived by his wife, May Anilhongse, and a daughter.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
