MARY DEMETRICE WOOTEN HARVEY

Mary Demetrice Wooten Harvey, 63, 215 E. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, was born Jan. 24, 1954, in Goldsboro, N.C., to the late Grace Lee Wooten Newsome and the late George Wadford.
She departed this life March 24, 2017, at Wayne UNC Health Care of Goldsboro, N.C., surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was employed by Cherry Hospital for 22 years, where she worked until her health wouldn't permit her to work any longer, and she medically retired.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories two children, Nigrilya Moneshe Harvey (daughter) and Bobby Detorus Harvey (son) both of Goldsboro, N.C.; five grandchildren, Tiffany Perkins, Mahagany Perkins, Justice Wooten and Jayla Brown all of Goldsboro, N.C., and Mariah Perkins of Durham, N.C.; and four great-grandchildren, Leah Exum, Lawrence Holmes, Kal Holmes and Laiya Holmes.
The celebration of life will be held Friday, March 31, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church, 2110 N. William St., Goldsboro, N.C. She will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
There will be a visitation held Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 6 to 7 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro, N.C.
