Leo "Sam" Pittman, 79, Middlesex, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral will be 6 tonight in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service, with the Rev. Frank Bailey officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Kenly Cemetery.
He was born in Johnston County May 27, 1937, to the late Haskall and Elizabeth Boswell Pittman.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Worth O'Brian Pittman; three sons; and a daughter.
Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home and at other times, at his home.
