RACHEL P. CREEL

Rachel Price Creel, resident of the Beautancus community of Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Wayne Hospital.
A homemaker, she often worked alongside her husband as they farmed.
She was a member of Calypso Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 4, at 1 p.m. at Calypso Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Lamarr Jackson.
Friends and family will be received at the residence.
Mrs. Creel is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Rick Wall of Goldsboro and Debbie and Phil Holmes of Mount Olive; three grandchildren, Stuart Wall and wife, Nan, of LaGrange, Stephanie Bullock and husband, Jamie, of Greenville and Bryce Holmes of Mount Olive; four great-grandchildren, Taryn and Evan Wall, Abigail McPhail and Washburn Bullock; a sister, Carolyn Price Pennington of Mount Olive; a sister-in-law, Sue Price of Mount Olive; several nieces and nephews, who were very special to their Aunt Rachel; and Jennifer Bradshaw, her caregiver, who became a very dear friend.
Those preceding her in death include her husband, Albert Lee Creel; her parents, Luby and Hattie Dail Price; and three brothers and a sister-in-law, Lincoln and Sadie Margaret Price, Louis Price and Robert Price.
