Julia Butler Capps, 76, of Smithfield died Thursday at her residence.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Smithfield, with a memorial service at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are with Evergreen Funeral Home.
