Patricia "Patty" McCarty, 34, died Tuesday evening at home.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Patrick "Pat" M. McCarty of LaGrange and Jackie A. Merry McCarty of Banbury, England.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alihla D. Beverage, and her brother, Jason L. McCarty.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Patty will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel.
The family will receive friends after the service.
Along with her parents, she is survived by her sons, Christopher Allen McCarty and Nicholas Aaron McCarty both of the home; her brothers, Patrick Michael McCarty Jr. of Topeka, Kan., and James S. McCarty of Pikeville; her grandmother, Jackie H. McCarty of LaGrange; her mother's special friend, Michael Carty; and her best friend, Jacqueline Suzanne Hudson.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to assist in funeral expenses.
