Kenneth Dale Cox, 71, Fremont, died Friday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
He was born in Wayne County Nov. 7, 1945, to Clara Cox Troublefield and the late Abraham Troublefield.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Edmundson Cox, a son and three daughters.
Visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home Saturday.
