RICKY EVANS RUSHTON

Ricky Evans Rushton, 59, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Ricky was born in Wayne County March 12, 1957, to Turner McLean Rushton of Goldsboro and the late Henry Curtis Rushton Jr.
He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.
He was a graduate of Durham Technical Community College, and had worked as a dental lab technician with New Life Dental Studio.
Ricky always enjoyed woodworking and playing chess.
Graveside services will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Bobby Heath officiating and with military honors.
The family will greet friends Monday following the service at the cemetery.
In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by his son, Jesse Rushton of Calabash; daughter, Kalie Rushton of Spokane, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
