Carlyle Eldridge, 86, Johnston County, died Tuesday.
Graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Kenneth Eldridge officiating. Interment will be at Eldridge Family Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Carlyle and Velma Eldridge. He was married to the late Mary Eldridge.
He is survived by a son.
The family will receive friends at the home of Kenneth Eldridge, 1800 Eldridge Road, Newton Grove.
Arrangements are by West and Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove.
