Jerome Vashon Ragland, 43, passed out of earthly light into heavenly glory, from the distractions and strife and weariness of time to the peace of eternity, Aug. 9 at his home in Clayton, N.C.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Raheem Forsythe; one daughter, Zaria Ragland; one goddaughter, Isis Mckee; his mother, pastor Alice Ragland; and one sister, Ms. Lalita Ragland of Goldsboro, N.C.
Homegoing services will be held Thursday, Aug. 18, at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris St., Goldsboro, N.C.
Viewing will be held at 10 a.m., one hour prior to service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
