DANNY KIRBY
April 3, 1954-June 17, 2016
Danny Carlyle Kirby 62, Goldsboro, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Unversity of North Carolina Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Danny was born in Wayne County April 3, 1954, to the late Carlyle and Ellen Rowe Kirby.
The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home Tuesday June 21, 2016, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 813 E. Mulberry St., at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with pastor Robert White officiating. Interment will follow in Pikeville Cemetery.
Danny was a man of God with a true desire to know the person of Jesus Christ. He was faithful to the call of pastor to his church in Goldsboro and to many European countries. His desire was to see the kingdom of God established and advanced.
His journey is now complete, and he will forever be with the Lord.
Danny is survived by his wife of 36 years, Beth West Kirby; son, Andrew and his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Christian and her husband, Daniel Twomey; and two beautiful grandchildren, Jacob and Annalise Kirby all of Goldsboro.
He is also survived by his sister, Faye Parrish and her husband, Clark, of Goldsboro.
