MARY EDNA BOGUE

Mary Edna Bogue went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church in Pikeville, where she was a member. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Mrs. Bogue was a native of Wayne County, born July 27, 1924, to the late Jesse and Thelma Price Crumpler.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Henry Bogue, and her brother, Larry Crumpler and his wife, Georgia.
She had been an active member of Northern Lights Extension and Community Association and Mount Carmel United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Bogue is survived by her daughter, Teresa Davis and husband, Elton, of Mount Olive; son, Ronnie Bogue and wife, Nancy, of Fremont; brothers, Carlton Crumpler and wife, Arlene, of Goldsboro and J.R. Crumpler of Georgia; five grandchildren, Ginny Sauls and husband, Michael, Sterling Schupp, Mary Channing and husband, Jay, Kelly Guy and husband, Chris, and Ashley Graham and husband, Elliott; and eight great-grandchildren, Aliya, Will, Tanner, Cain, Caleb, Aubrey, Mason and Ella Wright.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 10, Pikeville, N.C., 27863.
The family would like to thank Country Side Village and Kitty Askins Hospice Center for the wonderful care they provided.
The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St. in Fremont.
