Mr. Elbert M. Holloman, 62, Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Goldsboro, departed this life Thursday, March 24, 2016, at NYU Lutheran Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon Friday, April 1, at Smith-Holloway Memorial Funeral Services, 1220 N. William St., Goldsboro, N.C. Elder Morris Hutchinson Sr. will be eulogist. Interment Evergreen Memorial Cemetery of Princeton, N.C.
A public visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016, 2 to 5 p.m. at The Bishop Lonnie E. Holloway Sr. Memorial Chapel. Family and friends will be received at 305 Slocumb St., Goldsboro.
Mr. Holloman is survived by four children, Hosea (Margie) Smith of Goldsboro, Reginald Holloman of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Vonetta (Larry) Sherrod and Latoyia Holloman both of Augusta, Ga.; 10 grands; four great-grands; and siblings, Charles Holloman of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Annie Artis, Rita Holloman and Bernard Holloman all of Goldsboro.
