Wallace Lee Smith, 19, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at his home.
Wallace was born in Wayne County March 27, 1996, to his parents, Emily Renay Freeman and Roland Lee Smith Jr.
He attended Charles B. Aycock High School, and received his GED at Wayne Community College.
Wallace was currently an employee of Subway in Goldsboro.
A service to remember Wallace will be held Monday, March 28, 2016, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Wallace is survived by his mother, Emily R. Freeman and husband, Ralph, of Goldsboro; father, Roland L. Smith Jr. of Virginia; sister, Courtney Barnes and fiancé, Jesse Evans, of Goldsboro; nephew, Jaden Evans; and grandparents, Butch and Vickie Wallace of Goldsboro and Olga Freeman of Spring Valley, N.Y.
He is also survived by his stepsister, Brianna Freeman; stepbrother, Gage Freeman of Goldsboro; and aunt, Deana Wallace.
Wallace was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Betty Smith.
