James Arthur Blount, 62, 160 Ward St., Apt 5-1, Patterson, N.J., formerly of LaGrange, died Sunday at home.
Funeral will be Saturday at noon at Mount Calvary Free Will Baptist Church of LaGrange. Burial will be in St. Matthew Church Cemetery of LaGrange.
He was born July 21, 1953, in Lenoir County to Alfonzo and Christine Miles Blount.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be at the church an hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at 620 N. Caswell St., where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
