DR. BENJAMIN F. CLARK
Died Feb. 20, 2016
Dr. Benjamin F. Clark, 150 County Road, Mount Olive, N.C., died Saturday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, N.C.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at noon at First Congregational United Church of Christ of Dudley. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Cemetery in Mount Olive, N.C.
Dr. Clark was born to the late Amanda Wesley Clark and Roland D. Clark in Hamlet, N.C.
He was a longtime educator, church leader and community worker.
He is survived by his wife, Letha H. Clark; one son, Benjamin Clark Jr. (Wynette); one daughter, Leticia C. McKinnie (Bryan); and a host of other relatives and friends, which includes three adorable grandchildren.
There will be a public viewing one hour prior to the services Saturday, Feb. 27, at the church. The family will receive friends at that time. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
