ALIDA L. WELLER

Alida Lansing Weller, 95, died Sunday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Sussex County, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Lena Trusdell and wife of the late John Edwin Weller. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and was a strong supporter of the MYF and Boy Scout Troop 10 at the church. She was a great homemaker and was famous for her lemon meringue pies.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Dusty Sprouse and Rudy Peedin officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her daughter, Barbara Huff.
Mrs. Weller is survived by her daughter, Barbara Weller Huff and husband, Howard; grandchildren, Debbie H. Whaley and husband, Charles, Christopher H. Huff and wife, Carrie; great grandchildren, Matthew C. Whaley and wife, Ali, Justin D. Whaley, Brianna E. Huff and Mackenzie B. Huff; and numerous special friends.
