Joe Wade Jr., 64, died Tuesday morning at his home.
Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Joe Wade Sr. and Bobbie Fields, and was the husband of Laura W. Wade.
He was self-employed, and owned and operated his own roofing contracting business.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Goff officiating
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Danny Wade of Pikeville and Jason and Jennifer Wade of Holly Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Mercer Ferrell of Maysville; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Allen Ray and Diane Davis of Pikeville; two sisters; Laura Ellen Fail of Pikeville and Beverly Dorman of Kenansville; and seven grandchildren.
