Linda Marie Bizzell Hucks, 72, 109 Westwood Drive, Goldsboro, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016.
Funeral 1 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 U.S. 70 West, Goldsboro. The Rev. John Edwin Mishoe officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service and at other times, at the residence.
Surviving are her husband, James Kelly Hucks; son, James Kevin Hucks of Royse City, Texas; daughter, Kathy Ann Bowman of Everett, Pa; grandchildren, Joshua Kelly Hucks, Kylie Janee Hucks and Steven Daniel Hucks; stepmother, Sylvia Bissell of Supply, N.C.; stepbrothers, James Kinlaw and Wayne Kinlaw both residing in Pulaski, Tenn.; and stepsisters, Gayle Sawyer of Windsor, Va., Nena Bowman of Pensacola, Fla., Wanda Stewart of Astatual, Fla., and Sherry Bramble of Supply, N.C.
Linda was born in Lumberton, N.C., and was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Clark Kinlaw and Leon Stenson Bissell; a daughter, Patricia Jean Hucks; and stepsisters, Sherron McDermott and Sally McDaniel.
Linda retired from United Insurance of America, where she worked as a sales manager.
Linda, a great lover of animals, requested that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the North Carolina ASPCA, www.aspca.org, or local shelter, Wayne County Humane Society, P.O. Box 821, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533, in memory of Linda Hucks.
