Julius David Capps Jr., 42, Goldsboro, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016.
He was born May 29, 1973, and was the son of Julius David Capps Sr. and wife, Jeannette, and Gloria Dallie Hines Pollard and husband, Tony.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at Casey Funeral Home chapel at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Harold T. Anderson officiating. The burial will take place in Princeton Cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016.
Mr. Capps was a graduate of Rosewood High School, class of 1992, where he played football and in his senior year, went, along with his teammates, to the state championship games. He was fondly referred to as "Juice."
He was an avid drag racer, enjoying much of this time with his children.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Austin Lancaster of Rocky Mount, Blake Tyler Capps of the home and Braxton David Capps of the home.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at Casey Funeral Home chapel.
