J.B. Young, 74, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born Jan. 12, 1941, to the late Vernon Young and Maggie Myers Young.
He was predeceased by brothers, Vernon, George, Gerald and Charles Young.
Funeral services will be held at Casey Funeral Home chapel in Princeton Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Ralph Parker officiating. Mr. Young will be buried at Selah Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Holland Young; sons, Mike Young of Grantham and J.B. Young Jr. of Princeton; daughters, Sharon Young Newsome of Grantham and Melinda Young of Grantham; brothers, William Young of Grantham and Steve Young of Grantham; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at Casey Funeral Home chapel in Princeton.
