Audrey Elizabeth Mozingo Worley, 91, Princeton, passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro Friday, Nov. 27, 2015.
She was born May 16, 1924, to the late John Walter and Mattie Batten Mozingo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Dewitt Worley.
The funeral service will take place at Casey Funeral Home chapel Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating. The burial will follow the service in Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Worley was a member of Princeton Baptist Church.
As a young girl, she attended Campbell University and East Carolina University.
After marriage, she settled down in Princeton with her husband, Wilton, to raise their family.
She was employed at Cherry Hospital, where she worked in vocational rehabilitation until she retired.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Wilton Worley and wife, Mary Lou, of Princeton and James Roy Worley and wife, Sherry, of Princeton; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Weaver of Fayetteville; a sister, Rose Worley of Princeton; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Casey Funeral Home Chapel.
