Mrs. Teresa Ann Weeks Davis, 51, Woodstock, Ga., affectionately known by her family and friends as "Reet," formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., transitioned Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church, 2110 William St., Goldsboro, with pastor Favin Strickland as eulogist, and the Rev. Renee Jones presiding.
A public visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bishop Lonnie E. Holloway Memorial Chapel at the funeral home.
Interment Wayne Memorial Park.
All other times, family and friends can meet at the home of Lillian Weeks at 201 S. Alabama Ave. in Goldsboro.
Teresa was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, James R. Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Brandon Weeks, Devonta "Big" and Deonta "Little"; four grandchildren she adored, Bryson and Jordan Weeks, Aubri James and Little's son; her mother, Lillian Weeks; father, Lawrence Chestnut; her mother-in-law, Betty Jackson; grandmother, Mary T. Davis; five sisters, Diane, Wanda, Shelvie and Shirley (Robert), Brenda (Windley) and Nicole William; brothers, Tony (Felecia) and Isaac (Alice); five aunts, Beulah Weeks, Hilda Evans, minister Dolly Field, Dorothy Hansley and Edythe Taylor; and two uncles, Johnny Taylor and Willie Taylor.
