BARBARA "BOBBIE" BRANCH STONE

Barbara "Bobbie" Branch Stone, 80, loving wife for 54 years of retired Master Sgt. Eugene "Rock" Stone, went home to be with her Lord and savior Monday evening, while surrounded by her family at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
"Bobbie" as she was known by those who knew and loved her, was born in Lumberton, N.C., to the late Wesley and Josephine Bullard Branch.
Bobbie was a former member of Pinewood Presbyterian Church, and was a current member of Family of Faith Community Church in Goldsboro, where she served in the backpack ministry, Fed on Faith, to help students at Edgewood Developmental School.
Bobbie was a devoted employee of Wayne Memorial Hospital for 46 years, and retired in March 2015 from the business office.
Bobbie, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, is survived by her daughters, Karen Earnest and husband, John, of Pikeville and Debbie Kimbrell of Pikeville; son, Ron Stone and wife, Kim, of Lakeville, Minn.; brothers, Howell Branch and Carl Branch; and sister, Patricia Sutton and husband, Charles.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Karla Carter and husband, Ashley, Lee Singleton and wife, Chelle, Jennifer Orth and husband, Mike, Michael Kimbrell, Laura Reinke and husband, Ryan, Christopher Kimbrell and wife, Jessica, Joseph Stone and fiancee´, Amy Rosendahl, and Donnie Kimbrell and wife, Janna; her great-grandchildren, Ashton Carter, Elizabeth Carter, Madison Orth, Ava Kimbrell, Jackson Orth, Makenna Kimbrell, Leyah Kimbrell, Quinn Orth, Peyton Reinke, Gavin Reinke, Lily Kimbrell and Charlie Kimbrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rock Stone, and her son-in-law, Don Kimbrell.
Family members will receive friends beginning Wednesday at the home of Debbie Kimbrell, 6069 Wayne Memorial Drive in Pikeville.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Family of Faith Community Church. Officiating will be pastor John Earnest. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lee Singleton, Michael Kimbrell, Christopher Kimbrell, Donnie Kimbrell and Ashley Carter, and special friend, Ricky Barber.
Bobbie will always be remembered as a devoted wife, dedicated mother, doting grandmother and much-loved member of her extended family and community.
She was the rock of her family; her husband and children knew that she loved them with all her heart, and she truly was a blessing to them.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice, especially Kelly Ransome, R.N., and Carol Warren, as well as the staff of Kitty Askins Hospice Center for the loving care they provided for Mama.
