Masaru "Mas" Okamoto, 91, Mount Olive, died Thursday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Steve Wicks officiating, followed by visitation in Baker Hall of the church.
He was married to Kaneko "Emiko" Jackson Okamoto.
He is survived by two sons.
